Just a thought, I reckon you should add a new tab in the Jasper document workspace.
Where we currently have the Design/Preview I think it'd be handy to have a "Source" view as well.
My reasoning is that I keep opening in source view, define some fields etc. then close it and open with JA to lay them out and move things around. This switching between source hacking and gui editing gets to be a bit of a pain. I'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to add in. Maybe you could make an advanced option in the Window->Preferences->JasperAssistant to enable/disable the source tab ?
I know you SHOULD be able to do everything in the editor, but I'm a bit old-school and still like to see/understand whats happening in the background.
What do you think ?
